Competitions and Member Transfer

NOTE TO ALL COMPETING BANDS ABOUT NOMINAL ROLLS AND COMPETING

Bands failing to properly register and transfer players will be disqualified and penalized in 2009. This includes taking unregistered players to games in other jurisdictions. See the new rule passed in 2007 regarding timing of band roster changes.

SPBA Contest Rules

Also needed for your member application each year is:
- a $100 cheque made out to "The SPBA;"
- a list of band members with complete address, telephone and e-mail information.
Bands within Saskatchewan must have a non-profit corporation number to be eligible for grants or other financial assistance.

2009 Solo Grading Card Application (doc)

All pipers and drummers will need an SPBA individual membership to compete in solos at any contest in North America.

Workshop and Special Projects Grant Information

AGAIN IN 2009

Bands are able to apply for a discounted bulk registration for soloists. NOTE: these MUST be received by the deadline of December 15th, 2008.
