SOUND ADVICE will once again be on the main campus of the University of Regina in 2013! We have beautiful, modern classroom spaces, new student accommodation, great performance spaces, and excellent food services!
Join us for a lively, fun week of piping and drumming, with some of the best instructors you'll find anywhere!
The 2013 school is pleased to welcome J. Reid Maxwell, L-D of the 6-time World Champion SFU Pipe Band, as well as one of the World's most celebrated performers and teachers of Scottish snare drumming! Also new this year is Michael O'Neil, a champion performer on tenor drum, and also a member of the SFU Pipe Band and a highly sought-after instructor. Alex Gandy is returning as a piping instructor, and the pipe-major of the Halifax 78th Highlanders Pipe Band and award-winning soloist is looking forward to seeing new and old faces at this year's camp. We are very pleased to have James P. Troy, Ryan MacDonald, and Roland Reid returning to Sound Advice in 2013, and we will add more instructors should the registration demand.

FREE PROGRAM FOR BEGINNERS!
Each year at Sound Advice we offer a free program for children who would like to try pipes and/or drums. It runs in the morning only, Monday to Friday, and gives children ages 8-12 (recommended age) the opportunity to learn what piping and drumming are all about, take lessons, hear others play, and meet the students at the camp who currently play. Past students have gone on to join local bands and a number are now active members of a pipe band! Registration is limited. To register for the free program, please use the registration page and select "Free Beginner Program."
