We're back in person at the beautiful University of Regina July 7-12 with a stellar instructional staff.

SOUND ADVICE is looking forward to welcoming the current World Champion pipe-major and lead-drummer perennial champions Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe BandDr. Richard Parkes, MBE also holds the record for the most WPBC wins ever (13) and L-D Gareth McLee's leadership of the FMM drum corps earned them high honours in the 2023 season.

Also coming is Glenna MacKay-Johnstone from Ontario, with loing experience is solo piping, Grade 1 bands and teaching. She's also a cracking Gaelic singer, and we're looking forward to that!. We're excited to welcome back Sean Somers, who has been at Sound Advice in the past. Sean is widely known and a great player, pipe-major and composer. Joining the team again this year is Jacquie Troy Carter teaching snare drumming, and she brings with her a life-time of experience in Highland culture, Grade 1 bands, and teaching youth. Returning this year to teach bass/tenor is Ruaridh MacDonald, winner of top championships including the 2019 World's with Inveraray and a creative musoician and teacher.
